Angry parents led by Nairobi based activist Boniface Mwangi and Nakuru East MP David Gikaria on Thursday morning brought down a perimeter wall erected around Naka Primary School in Nakuru.
There have been allegations that the school’s land has been grabbed by a private developer who erected a wall around it.
The parents brought down the wall in an attempt to reclaim the land from the developer who is alleged to have colluded with land officials to acquire the plot.
“This land belongs to Naka Primary School and we will resist any attempt to grab it,” said Justin Karimi.
MP Gikaria vowed to use any means to reclaim the
10-acres of land alleged to have been grabbed by the developer.
“We will use the court and any other means to reclaim the land. We will fight both locally and in Parliament
